Prof. H. Vincent Poor has been selected by the IEEE Board of Directors to receive the 2017 IEEE Alexander Graham Bell Medal.  The award is given for exceptional contributions to communications and networking sciences and engineering.  Poor receives the award "for fundamental contributions to signal processing and its application to digital communications".
