EE Graduate Students Lingyu Hong and Xue Wu have received the prestigious IEEE pre-doctoral achievement award from the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society. Xue received his award for his work on programmable THz interfaces in silicon and Lingyu received his award for his work on enabling nano-plasmonic components in CMOS systems for ultra-miniaturized optical bio-molecular sensing systems.  Their advisor is Prof. Kaushik Sengupta.
